Soothed
Victor Hugo Mendevil
I read my last few pages against the pinkling of the clouds:
pink to gray is so alarming: (enter all the sounds) a
cyclist’s one-eyed light shines a feature
in my brow: sky-tip birds are lathered
by the thundering of the ground,
Oh rush hour,
Oh rush hour,
steak-and-potato hills,
coming home to me:
a final swan,
a shower fills.
